It's packed with lots of bold and flavorful spices like garlic, mustard, and smoked paprika and cayenne pepper.

The ingredients are simple but need to be used in the right amount. We tested this cowboy butter recipe several ways for the perfect taste.
Material notes
- Salted Butter: Use good stuff and make sure to soften it. Don't sub for margarine. This is a butter recipe, baby. Embrace it!
- Garlic: You can use dried garlic, but fresh minced is best.
- Stone Ground Mustard: Has more bite and better texture than Dijon or yellow mustard.
- Worcestershire: Taste baby taste.
- Paprika: The smoked paprika brings a whole new level of depth, really giving it that cowboy kick.
- Stay red chilies: If you can't handle the heat, stay in the kitchen anyway and let it out.
Ways to use cowboy butter
It's not something you want to smear on bread, like regular Homemade butter. This is something that goes into the “rest butter” category. Here are some of our favorite suggestions for what to do with cowboy compound butter.
- Meat: Add a generous slice or dollop to warm Steaks, Pork chopsor Chicken breast meat. You can even toss some with chicken wings!
- Pasta: Melt the noodles on a plain plate. Or use it to add some Tex-Mex excitement to classic Italian dishes like garlic Shrimp language, Angel hair pastaor creamy Fettuccine Alfredo.
- Vegetables: Use in place of regular butter baked potato, potato fillingor Corn on the cob. It also adds great flavor to basic cooked vegetables Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, AsparagusAnd green beans. You can either add slices to the vegetables or melt and drizzle over the top.
