It is vibrant and fresh and pairs beautifully with a variety of salads. You can buy salad dressing shakers, or just grab a mason jar and mix directly in the jar.
Material notes
- Orange zest and juice: Take a fresh orange for this. You want to zest it first, and then juice it. You can even play with different types of oranges like cara-cara, blood orange or even a tangerine.
- Flavored vinegar: Use good quality balsamic vinegar for best taste.
- olive oil: You will taste the flavor with the dressing so be sure to use a good quality extra virgin olive oil for best results.
- Dijon Mustard: Just adds a little bite. Dijon is preferred over yellow mustard for its complex flavor that is not as blunt and pungent as turmeric.
- sugar: Honey works great for those who want to replace sugar.
