Why our recipe?
- All the flavors of s'mores without the campfire.
- Make it with or without coffee!
- A fun presentation option with a toasted marshmallow topper.
I can make love to s'mores anytime with this drink. I almost always have ingredients on hand. I always use mine Homemade hot fudge sauce Because it's seriously the best ever. And since I have kids, graham crackers and marshmallows always seem to be available in my pantry. So, so, so delicious. Sure, you can be addicted for life, but it's too good to pass up.
Materials
- Milk: We recommend 2% or whole milk for a delicious richness. You can also make milk substitutes that work for your diet.
- Hot Fudge Sauce: Any kind of hot fudge works great. If you want to make your own, check out our delicious Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe.
- Marshmallow: You can also use 16 mini marshmallows or a heaping spoonful of fluff marshmallows.
- Graham Crackers: Adds thickness to the frappe and brings out the familiar s'mores flavor.
- Espresso shot (optional): If you want to add a little extra pick-me-up, add 1-2 shots of espresso
- Ice Cubes: It's important that you don't add the ice until the other ingredients are mixed separately to allow the marshmallows to develop a smooth, creamy texture.
Coffee substitutes
A frappe is just an iced drink, although Starbucks can assure you that it always requires coffee. You can make this recipe any way you like! Want to add coffee to your frappe? You can use one of these options:
- 1 to 2 shots of prepared espresso
- 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup brewed coffee
