Cut the round cake in half straight in the middle. Then, select one side and cuts perpendicular to that central line, making flat strips, tight instead of triangular slices. Eachdo slice will come out like a rectangle with a lifting layer at the top and outer edge. Repeat on the other side of the cake, and voilà! A round cake becomes many equal rectangular slices that maximize services and look uniform and professional.
Should you make your cake serve even more people? Once you have cut the cake in half, you can make two more cuts parallel to the central line halfway between the middle and each edge. Then, make your cuts in the central line as described above, forming two small rectangular pieces at one time. One slice will be freezing at the top, and the other will be frost at the top and side, allowing your guests to choose how much irritation they would like in their religions.
