Material notes
- Crust: Use your favorite crust or use ours Refrigerate pizza dough, Easy Pizza Doughor Italian style pizza dough.
- Chicken breast: Cut into bite-sized pieces before adding the curd and spices.
- Greek Yogurt: The thickness makes an excellent base for marinades, but there is an acidity that makes the chicken tender. Substitute the same amount with sour cream or buttermilk (their tang is important). Plain yogurt is fine to use, but one of the others is preferable.
- Lemon juice: Helps tenderize chicken faster.
- Cumin, cinnamon, ginger, paprika: Add garam masala and taste.
- Pepper: A way to control spice levels. Our recipe is mild, but if you want more heat, add a little more.
- Garam Masala: A spice blend that you can find in the spice aisle of most grocery stores. If you can't find it, we've got you covered with our mix garam masala.
- Tomato Sauce: Sold in a can, choose low-sodium options to reduce salt intake.
- Heavy Cream: Required for thickness.
- Cheese: Freshly sliced mozzarella for the perfect pizza.
- White Onion: A milder onion-y flavor than yellow onions, and holds up to cooking heat to maintain a subtle crunch.
- Coriander: Tikka appreciates the spice, but for those who don't like cilantro, you can use chopped parsley.
Yogurt and lemon juice do not eat yogurt?
yes and no Do not add any curd to this recipe. Just follow the recipe and mix everything together to prevent curdling.
Yogurt and lemon juice combined and heated too quickly over high heat can curdle, but we don't do either of those in our recipe, so you'll be perfectly fine. No curd, just mouthwateringly smooth flavor.
