Ever since I discovered how to do Lotion rodsI have experimented with different changes including the sun rodsVapo-Rub bars, and others. Today's favorite: Lotion bars for flaws!
They are so easy to make the original rods, and they look even more effective in keeping errors than regular spray made with home. Probably because they actually wear the skin with a protective layer. They are easy to take and children can apply it themselves.
What is the problem with the bug spray?
While I am certainly not a mosquito worshiper or Tick bitesI'm not even a big fan of conventional defects. These usually contain Deet, a chemical that studies have linked to a host of all possible health issues.

Ingredients of Lotion Lotions of Errors
Instead of filling with toxins like conventional errors sprays, this recipe nourishes and moisturizes the skin while protecting it. Use a nut oil nut oil base nut nut nut nut walnut nut and bee wax. You can also use cocoa butter or mango butter if preferred for a slightly harder ribbon.
I have also included a variety of plants that are excellent in repelling unwanted insects. You don't have to use everyone if you don't have them in hand but I think it works better. If you need to replace a herb, just add even more from others to the country.
Dried plants work best in this recipe as fresh plants can cause infected oil to form. If you have fresh herbs from your garden you want to use, simply dehydrate them some first. Here's a guide in drying plants.
Vitamin E is optional, but it helps to extend the shelf life and prevent oils from oxidizing as soon as possible. I also add some additional protection with essential oils. These are more concentrated than plants and help increase the efficiency of the grass. I like This mix of children from plant therapy.
Lotion
I use silicone forms to place the rods. These are Cupcake molds I used But I also want these hearts OR Simple shapes with flowers Both would be great for gifts. There is also the actual ones in the grass -shaped. If you do not have a silicone mold, then a pan with the lined cupcake can also work.

Infuse the oil

Using a double boiler or glass bowl on top of a small pan, heat a little water at the bottom of the pan to boil.

Pour the liquid into the molds.

Leave in the mold until it is completely placed (it is best overnight). Or you can speed up the process by placing them in the refrigerator.
- To use, rub the rods in exposed areas of dry skin to protect against mosquitoes.
- I use cupcake -size molds for my lotion rods. If you use another size, your yield will be different.
