I first heard about Salve Diy Black Drawing as a natural remedy when visiting a local amish community to get produce and eggs. One of the farmer's boys was applying what looked like a pitch on the arm after receiving a large separation from a fence post.
I asked him what was coming to his arm and was told that it was a drawing sauce to help pull the piece and make sure the area was not infected. I was fascinated and wondered how well it would work.
The farmer assured me that Salve Healing does not stain the skin and they used it all the time in their community. They used drawing salts to speed wound healing and bring out foreign objects stuck to the skin. He said it was also effective in Some spider bites to draw the poison.
As he did not know where to buy it, he offered to write the recipe for me.
The benefits of black drawing salts
I have made changes to this recipe since then. It takes a while to do, but it's very effective and it's worth time. We especially use it for pieces and glass pieces that are fastened into the skin. I have not tried it in person, but the Black Drawing Salves also reportedly helping to remove moles and skin labels.
The healing features of plants help alleviate the irritation of the skin and insect bites. Keep some in your natural aid bag even for bee strokes!
How to make the oil infected with herb
Before making the salts, it is important to inject olive oil with Comfrey, Calendula and the plant. I dust them in a coffee grinder immediately before using them to increase their power. I use 1 tablespoon of each herb in 1/2 cup olive oil. Here are two different ways to create an infused oil:
- Push the drugs and place them in a small jar. Pour olive oil over the herb and allow it to be injected for 3-4 weeks, shaking daily. Use a cheesecloth to strain the plants and reserve the infected oil.
- Heat the herbs and olive oil in a double boiler. Leave on low/medium heat for about an hour until the oil becomes strong and darker. Once done, use a cheesecloth to strain plants.
Personally, I hold a large jar with olive oil bun, greyhoundAND kalends In my herbal apothecary and let it constantly inject for use in salvete and lotions. When oil is used, I throw the plants and start the process again.
Now that you have your infused oil, you are ready to make some home -made drawing salts!

The ingredients and those that make
The basis of this sultation of drawing uses a Plant infusion oil. It takes a few weeks to do, but it is amazing for skin health. I keep a jar of Comfrey oil, plantain and calendula in my pantry to use for various home remedies and skin care projects. This mixture of plants helps in the speed of healing of time and reducing inflammation. Plantain also naturally has soft drawing properties to remove impurities and irritations of the skin.
Shea butter is moisturizing and helps to increase the thickness along with the bee wax. Vitamin E oil is an antioxidant and helps slow down the oxidation that makes the oils go harsh. Kaolin Clay (similar to bentonite clay) acts as an adsorbent for different toxins and maybe even bacteria. It is another of the drawing ingredients in black salts.
Raw honey is of course antimicrobial and excellent for a variety of skin irritations. You can even use toward Raw honey as a burning salt! One of the most important ingredients in this recipe, and what gives her her black color, is Activated charcoal. Coal is widely used to treat food poisoning and decontaminate thanks to its absorption properties. Also excellent to draw pieces or to combine rooted hairs.
And finally, I add a little lavender essential oil to its skin benefits and to give Salva a pleasant aroma. The essential oil of the tea tree also works well as a substitute.
