A BEAUTY enthusiast has revealed how a natural oil helped to get rid of her dark circles in just four weeks.
She confessed that she “absolutely hated” how her under-eyes looked before she began using the skincare product.
Marta (@lil_xxtra) has garnered over 371,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares self-care tips.
She was excited to share a beauty hack as she showed before and after photos of her under-eyes.
“My before and after of using castor oil to get rid of my dark circles,” she said.
“I wanted to make this video as real as possible for you guys so I don’t have any professional lighting on.

“I have a window to my left and that’s it.
“About four weeks ago I started using castor oil at night to try and get rid of my dark circles.
“It is not something that I have battled my whole life with, it’s something that I recently saw and absolutely hated.
“I needed to find a solution.”

She showed a photo of the visibly dark circles under her eyes before she began using the castor oil.
“This photo was taken four weeks ago and as you guys can see my circles were pretty bad,” she said.
Marta said she began to notice an improvement within a week of starting to use the castor oil on her dark circles.
Over 1,800 people liked her video and many viewers took to the comment section saying they were eager to try it for themselves.
She revealed that she had been using Sunny Isle Jamaican Black castor oil, which costs $7.50 on Amazon.
According to the brand, castor oil is an “all-around great natural product” to incorporate into your daily beauty routine.
It can be used on the scalp, hair, and skin, to treat dryness and improve health.
Customers have given it a 4.6-star rating and penned thousands of glowing reviews.
“It has helped with under-eye circles,” one person wrote.

Dark circles can be caused by aging, genetics, allergies, and fatigue, among other reasons.
Castor oil is generally considered to be safe to use around the eye.
There is no scientific evidence to support claims that castor oil works for dark circles but lots of anecdotal evidence implies that it may help, according to Healthline.
