Introduction to Rose Hydrosol
I absolutely love the rose bushes I grow in my little house. I have a bunch of different types – some wild and some fancy cultivated varieties. Every summer, when they are all blooming and gorgeous, I find myself thinking of new ways to use them. I put those rose petals to work in so many ways! By adding them to delicious dessert recipes like this amazing one rose cardamomto boil them inside aromatic potpourri on the stove, to mix them herbal tea blends for a floral twist.
One of my favorite things to do is make my own rose hydrosol. This material has long been loved because of how soothing it is and how great it is for your skin. Making it myself means I get a completely clean, chemical-free product, but it's also just a really fun DIY project that connects me to nature.
There is something really special about going out into my garden, picking each delicate petal and turning them into this beautiful floral water. It's a neat little ritual! While I'm doing this, I can't help but feel grateful for these amazing roses and all the herbal wisdom behind using them in this way.
Let me show you how I do it, step by step. I'll share all my tips for capturing that rosy essence and unlocking all the skin-loving benefits. It's such a treat!
