Who doesn't love the ice cream on a hot summer day? Even if you are avoiding milk, there is no reason to lose! I first learned to make home -made ice cream when we were avoiding dairy For my son years ago. Although I have added some dairy back to my diet, this recipe with milk -free chocolate ice cream is still a family favorite.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for… avocado ice cream?
Instead of wiping the cream or heavy cream, this ice cream with mint chip receives its tenderness from avocados.
Avocados have such a soft taste and creamy texture that they are perfect for sweets. I've used them before in vegetarian smoothies with lime AND True meal shamrock shakes. Whenever I find a good deal for avocados, I know it's time to book and make ice cream with chocolate mint (and maybe a few avocado Also).
Another reason that avocados work so well for mint chocolate ice cream is the light green color they naturally add. It is not bright like the coloring of the green food found in the versions purchased in the store (which is probably a good thing!).
Chocolate ice cream homemade mint with coconut milk
To make the ice cream, I simply clean everything except the chocolate chips together in a blender and then pour it into the ice cream manufacturer. I add chocolate chips as soon as it starts to thicken. If you do not have an ice cream manufacturer, you can freeze it without one, simply mix occasionally until it thickens.
You can use either semi -sweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate for this. You can even use a chopped chocolate strip. The small pieces of chocolate add a beautiful fragile structure of smooth ice cream. I always choose a darker chocolate as there are more health benefits and less additives.
This home -made version crosses crushed sugar and instead uses a touch of raw honey to sweeten. You can even make your own Mint extract With fresh mint to add this.

Make chocolate ice cream without milk without milk at home with coconut milk, avocado and honey.

Put all ingredients, except for chocolate chips in a blender and puree until smooth.

Pour the mixture into an ice cream manufacturer and heck until thickened.

Add chocolate chips and light 2 minutes more.

Ice cream will be a very soft structure at this point. You can either serve immediately as a soft service or pour into a safe bowl into the refrigerator and set up until they are ready to use.

Allow to melt at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving.
