Material notes
the red
- Seedless Watermelon: You can also use cookie cutters or melon balls to add more fun to your salad.
- Strawberries: See that they are as ripe as possible.
white
- Crushed Feta: This salty ingredient brings a creamy texture and enhances other flavors. Cheese and fruit are just a perfect match!
the blue
- Blueberries and blackberries: See that there are as many ripe berries as possible.
and the rest
- Pineapple: Use a cookie cutter to make star-shaped pieces or dice into bite-sized cubes.
- Fresh Mint: Refreshing and light mint perfect for the summer heat.
- Honey: It is another flavoring ingredient and a sticky sweetener. You don't have to use it, but we love the extra sweetness and texture.
- Lemon juice: It brings another layer of brightness and flavor to the salad.
Cut the pineapple
Delicious pineapples take the stage to bring the star of our flag along with our red, white and blue colors. Once you cut them into small pieces, you can use a cookie cutter for that iconic star shape.
Even if you choose to cut them into bite-sized cubes, they can still represent our bright beginnings.
