What's great about these sliders is how versatile they are. Need to feed a crowd? No problem – you can easily double, triple or even quadruple the recipe. Often, a 24-pack of Hawaiian rolls will even fit in a 9×13 pan. With minimal preparation and maximum flavor, how can you not love them?
Material notes
- Hawaiian Rolls: Sweet and soft, the perfect balance of savory flavors and they come in that perfect slab.
- Deli Sliced Türkiye: Use any shredded turkey you like or leftover shredded turkey. You can even use a spicy-flavored deli turkey like Cajun or buffalo.
- Pepper Jack: Adds a nice spice. Substitute with Monterey Jack or cheddar if preferred. We slice our cheese to melt well, but you can always use shredded.
- Green Chilies: Take the diced can over low or medium heat and drain well.
- Mayonnaise: Spicy mayo is the base for the spread, but you can always use Miracle Whip or even plain Greek yogurt.
- Spices: Paprika, curry powder, pepper and salt for the mayo spread. Adjust cayenne pepper for desired heat.
- Butter Sauce: Butter mixed with poppy seeds, Dijon mustard, onion powder and Worcestershire sauce adds a finger-licking-good variety of flavor.
Roll option
Hawaiian rolls are sweet, soft and oh-so-delicious and come in a slab perfect for making sliders. Although you can really use any kind of roll. Roll cutting tips
Your best friend is going to be a big, serrated knife. Find one long enough to cut the entire rectangle of rolls at once. Check to make sure you cut the rolls in half evenly to make sure your lids are as big as your bottoms.
Storage instructions
Keep in fridge Up to four to five days in an airtight container.
Reheat Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an oven-safe dish loosely with foil and heat for 5-10 minutes until heated through.
