If you are like most people, The idea of losing weight Often brings thoughts on cutting calories and less eating. Almost almost the second nature, right? You eat less, you burn more, and voilà – you pour the pound. What if I told you my success for losing weight came from eating MORE– No less?
It sounds counterintors, but listen to me.
For years, I struggled with weight, energy and a slow metabolism. I tried to limit my food intake, bypass food and count every calorie. However, I didn't feel better and I definitely didn't lose the weight I wanted. I knew little, the key to actually Losing weight had nothing to do with – it was about eating more. It just had to be in a way to support my metabolism, balance my hormones and help my body feel safe.
Problem with eating very little for a long time
Here is the thing: Our bodies are extremely intelligent, and when we constantly eat very little, they begin to enter the “survival mode”. When we do not give our bodies enough fuel, they begin to think, “UH-Oh! There is a lack of food. Time to maintain energy!” So our metabolism slows down and our body holds over fat perceived hunger. This is why restrictive diets can often fire, causing your metabolism to stagnate, and leading to the weight loss plate (or even weight gain).
Moreover, eating very little for a long time can destroy your hormones. Cortisol, the stress hormone, begins to go when your body feels like it is greedy, and it can make weight loss much more difficult. High levels of cortisol can also contribute to gaining weight around the abdomen, fatigue and mood swings. All this makes losing weight more difficult.
How to eat enough (the right way!) Helps you lose weight
So what is the solution? Well, it's not about eating less – it's about eating fair Foods in the right quantities. When you eat plenty of protein, healthy fats and micronutrients, you send a signal to your body that the food is abundant and does not need to depend on extra fat. Your metabolism gets an incentive, and your hormones (including cortisol) Start balance. The Thello here is to make sure your body has everything it takes to flower. And for me, this approach made the whole difference.
My approach to lose weight by eating more
Here's how I called in my diet and the lifestyle to make it work:
Sleep is essential
First and foremost, I became serious to improve my sleep. Sleep is the foundation of health, and without it, nothing else works. I aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. I noticed when sleeping well, my metabolism works better, my hunger hormones (grrelin and leptin) are more balanced, and I feel less stressed.
Morning sunlight
Morningdo morning, I make sure I take 15 minutes of sunlight within an hour of waking. Sun light helps to put my Cirkadian rhythm, which helps my body know when it's time to be awake and when it's time to sleep. This simple habit has had a huge impact on my energy levels throughout the day, making it easier to stay active and concentrated.
Protein is a game shift
The most important part of my approach is to make sure I get at least 35 grams of protein within the first hour of awakening. This helps start my metabolism, keeps my sugar in stable blood and ensures that my body has the building blocks it needs to repair and grow muscles. I hit for 130+ grams of protein a day – wrapping like many, right? But when focusing on protein -rich foods, it is easier than sounds!
I spent breakfast and fast speed, but now I prioritize protein in the morning and spend the dinner if I want to eat in a limited window. I try to get as much as possible from real food sources but also usually get These amino capsules And sometimes make a smooth with protein powder.
You also often find me simply by eating a bowl of beef or beef + eggs, or making snack in steak or beef sticks.
Hydration (with a twist!)
I drink at least 3-4 quarters of water daily, which keeps me hydrated, helps digest and supports my metabolism. But here is the curve – I also add a top of sea salt in my water. Salt is an essential mineral This helps to balance electrolytes, supports proper hydration, and keeps my adrenal glands happy (which means less cortisol!).
Healthy fats and micronutrients
It's not just about proteins. I make sure I am taking plenty of healthy fats (such as avocado, coconut oil and grass -fed butter) to support hormone balance. I also make sure I am taking plenty of vitamins and minerals – everything from vitamin D to magnesium. This is where the target additions enter.
I get supplements that fill in the gaps to ensure that I am taking the right micronutrients my body must function to the maximum. Here is a brand I have loved recently with quality additions.
I like to move it by moving it
As people, we were intended to move, and most of us just don't move enough. How many clichés as it sounds, I noticed a difference from adding walking with a Weddened vest every day. Bonus drop if it is in the morning or during the bright afternoon sun for the benefits of light!
The good news? We do not need to make boring endless running to lose weight (at least, never worked for me), and in fact, it can be counterproductive. Not that I needed an excuse not to run more than a few hundred meters. The bad news? We have to move more than most of us are moving, but we can 80/20 this!
I walk most days and unite this with hearing a podcast or audiobook and getting sunlight at the same time! I also try to make 10 air gatherings every time I walk through my kitchen (which is too much) and hang or make some couple every time I walk with the attractive bar in my bathroom. Not decorated, but these little things are added and make a big difference.
More sunlight
Probably the most important factor and more for this soon. Growing up with straight skin, I avoided the sun for the most part. Now, I make sure I get enough sunlight every day (morning, bright noon and sunset) and avoid the bright light at night. I consider this one of the biggest factors in improving my level of health and stress.

The result?
I ate more… as double as I ate, and I lost my weight. When I forget and do not eat enough, I feel the difference! (I still sometimes three or make longer fasts, but mainly for mental/spiritual reasons). My energy is over, my metabolism is shooting all the cylinders, and my body is not keeping fat more.
And the best part? This approach is not about depriving or counting any single calorie. It is about nourishing my body and giving the tools it needs to work efficiently.
