I know it may sound unomant, but something in me rebelli against commercialized holidays (like Valentine's Day). You will not find me by buying heart -shaped boxes with candy or flowers that will die within two days. But I have some other ideas that have been a hit in the past or that attracted my attention.
Here are some ideas about the best gifts of Valentine's Day, whether for a loved one, the best friend, or just some very much self-care!
Let's update Valentine's Day by giving this year!
I love the days that are a reminder to tell my family how much I love and appreciate them. But this special holiday has become a tribute to candy and goods purchased in the store that lose their value after two days. I don't have a lot of sweet tooth and I certainly don't need a giant gift box full of tartels.
All of us feel the need to spend a lot of money on expensive dates and gifts because a marketing team has decided that Valentine's Day is a great time for flower and caramel sales.
If you are going to spend $ 160 on Valentine's Day (average according to Business Insider … Do you actually do it?!) I have some gift ideas that will bring stable health and happiness, not just a temporary hurry of sugar!
This Valentine's Day Gift Guide has one-to-one-time gift ideas, including DIY gifts for the late V-Day ideas.
Gifts that say “I love you”
One challenge I would give is to stop giving expensive gifts and giving ourselves a reason to be more creative and thoughtful with our gifts. As a result, I have a file with handwritten letters and memorandums from memorable events in the past. These mean much more than a box of chocolate can sometimes!
The best gifts for everyone, in my opinion, are the quality time or shared experiences. This is what I will give my family this year, and I will encourage you to consider it too! Here is a list of all my Favorite experiences To give as gifts, but I also have some specific Valentine's ideas!
